Andrew Lau

Andrew is an architect and designer. His interest in architecture focuses on the cross pollinating possibilities design has with biological sciences as a means of facilitating a sustainable future. Utilizing digital tools with fabrication methods, he explores the ways in how our designs can convey stories that elucidates our connection with space and the environment. He is currently a graduate student at New York University’s Integrated Digital Media program exploring the opportunities of coalescing his architectural background with the applied research and technical skills acquired as a way to further his interests in an interdisciplinary approach in design.

Myra Khan

Myra is currently doing an Independent Study with Professor Vanessa Harden to design water collection and filtration systems for the Ndor Eco Village in Ghana. They have huge problems with water contamination leading to a number of serious health and economical issues. She is using natural materials available at the village to help create an efficient filtration and collection system, the model of which if successful can be used throughout neighboring villages as well.
